The biggest risk we face during big shopping holidays is burnout. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed with deal after deal flying at you.

Now that the dust has settled, you can finally get that new laptop you’ve been wanting. The new Apple MacBook Air with a 13-inch screen and 256GB of storage has dropped back down to $1,099.99 at Amazon.

That’s almost $200 off the original price, and same deal Amazon featured during Black Friday and the holidays.

The latest MacBook Air features tons of bells and whistles, including a sleek and light aluminum chassis, eighth-generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage on a fast solid state drive. If you need more wiggle room in your budget, you do have the option to downgrade to a 128GB model for $949.99.

Other features include a high-resolution, 13-inch Retina display with more than 4 million pixels. That provides exceptional realism for editing photos or just watching the latest season of Sex Education. It also has built-in Touch ID so you can unlock your Mac with your fingerprint, access documents, or use Apple Pay without the need to remember another password. It has that and so much more in a package that weights 2.75 pounds and is as thin as 0.61 inches when closed.

The latest MacBook Air earned good marks in PCMag’s review and props for its “thin, sleek, and light” design. We also praised this laptop’s build quality, “large, accurate touchpad,” “very long battery life,” and fingerprint reader.

“The 2019 edition of Apple’s MacBook Air is cheaper and has a slightly richer feature set than its solid predecessor, making it a decent ultraportable for buyers who won’t perform many resource-intensive computing tasks,” we wrote.

If you missed the chance to gift yourself a new MacBook Air during the holidays, this discount is a great excuse to go ahead and treat yourself.
